Day 01.- Departure in Quito with the destination of Coca. Crossing on the Napo River to the Yarina Eco Lodge and its nature reserve.
After lunch will visit the Socali path, used like an introduction trail to learn about the flora and fauna that is possible to find in different types of forest. Return to the lodge to have the dinner and resting time. |
Day 06.- From Quito to Baltra Island, our English speaking guide will meet us at the airport and transfer us to the port of Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) for lunch. After lunch, we will go by speed boat for approximately two and half hours to Isabela, arriving at the Hotel for a short rest. We will then visit the Flamingo Lagoon, the largest coastal lagoon in Galapagos and a principal breeding ground for the Flamingos. Dinner and accommodations ().

Day 02.- After breakfast we will visit the Capibara path. An adventure trail with many swamps. Return to the lodge to take the lunch.
Iin the afternoon, the guides will teach how to use the blowpipe. Them will take a canoe to enjoy with the piranha fishing, dinner and resting time. |
Day 07.- After breakfast (7.30am) you drive to VOLCAN SIERRA NEGRA (the 2nd largest and activest volcano in the world (last eruption on 22nd octobre in 2005)), and VOLCAN CHICO, where you get a lunch box. Return to the hotel, dinner and accomodation ().

Day 03.- Breakfast. will take a canoe to navigate up river watching birds, butterflies, orchids, amphibians, all this till reach the trail "Dos ramas". We will have a short trekking to learn about medicinal plants, birds and animals.
After lunch we will take the Tucan trail, this trail will take us till one of the tallest birdwatching tower of the ecuadorian jungle. On the canopy we will stay some minutes watching some species of birds of high altitudes. Return to the lodge, dinner and resting time. |
Day 08.- Early in the morning after breakfast, we will return by speed boat to Puerto Ayora where a guide will be waiting for us to check-in at the hotel. Immediatly afterwards we will begin our visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island where Giant Turtles live in their natural habitat. After lunch in the Highlands , we will return to Puerto Ayora and go to the Charles Darwin Research Station and its Interpretive Center. There we will have the opportunity to see Lonesome George, the last Galápagos Tortoise of his species. Dinner and accommodations at hotel, in the evening you can return to the town for entertainment ().

Day 04.- After breakfast we will take the motor boat to go out of the borders of our reserve and visit an indigenous family of the Quichuas del Oriente community. Our guides will talk to you about traditions and costumes of these tribes. Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon we will walk through the "Guatusos trail". A new opportunity to learn from our guides the utility of some plants, about birds, insects and animals. Return to the lodge, dinner and resting time.

Day 09.- After breakfast (7.30am) you take a boat to Isla Floreana in order to visit the highlands, the freshwater springs and cultures of the zone. After lunch you visit the beach LOBERIAS where you can snorkel and enjoy the presence of sea lions and iguanas. In the evening return to Puerto Ayora, dinner, accomodation (). |
Day 05.- Early in the morning - after breakfast - departure in a canoe from the Yarina Eco Lodge to Coca in order to catch the flight to Quito.
Free afternoon in Quito (Hostal Jhomana or similar).

Day 10.- Breakfast. En route to the Baltra Airport we will visit “The Twins“, collapsing craters formed from lava flows passing beneath the Earth's surface. We then depart to the Baltra airport for our flight to Quito. |
